INFORMATION ARDEX BR 550 E

ARDEX BR 550 E is a two-component epoxy and polyamide cured and high solids coal tar epoxy coating for protection of steel and concrete in immersion and underground structures. It can be applied at a thickness of up to 300 microns in a single coat application and cures a flexible and smooth finish.

Application

ARDEX BR 550 E can be applied by using brush, roller or spraying equipment but the uniform thickness and high build properties of the coating are best achieved by spray applications.
It suggested applying 3 coats if using a roller to achieve min. dry film thickness of 400 microns.
