Crack Inducer / Joint Former

QUICSEAL 401 is made from high impact rigid polyvinyl chloride material.

Uses

QUICSEAL 401 is manufactured for controlled crack inducement and joint forming in airport taxiways / parking aprons and concrete paved areas. It is introduced where levelled groove edge is required to prevent concrete spalling caused by heavy point loading.

Installation

Insert and withdraw ‘T’ bar thus leaving joint groove in wet concrete.

Insert QUICSEAL 401 into joint groove whilst concrete is still wet.

When concrete has set, you may remove top section of QUICSEAL 401, leaving a joint ready to receive sealant. Proper application must be introduced in accordance to manufacturer’s sealant application procedure.

Top section may be left in, thus omitting the need for sealant application.
