INFORMATION ARDEX X 685

ARDEX X 685 is a specially formulated single
component fast-setting adhesive for large format tiles
installation. It composed of special cement, graded
fine sand, synthetic resins and selected additives to
obtain a fast curing bonding mortar for non-sag wall
installation with extremely high adhesion strength.
ARDEX X 685 mortar adheres well to most surfaces
and hardens without noticeable shrinkage. Once
cured, ARDEX X 685 mortar is resistant to water and
mild chemicals and helps to absorb movements from
shocks, vibrations and temperature changes.

TECHNICAL DATA ARDEX X 685

MIXING
Pour 5.75 – 6.25kg of water into a clean container.
Slowly add 25 kg of ARDEX X 685 and stir with a low
speed mechanical mixer until a homogeneous paste.
Allow the paste to stand for 5 minutes and remix before
applying.

COVERAGE
25kg of ARDEX X 685 is sufficient for approx. 6m2 on
floors using a 10 x 10 x 10mm notched trowel. The
coverage will vary depending on substrate condition,
tile type and application technique.
