Applications:
Semi Precast (Trowable)
ARDEX BG 100 GP must be mixed with correct proportion of water to produce a plastic consistency suitable for dry packing or trowel applications while maintining the performance of the grout.
Flowable
Ensure that the necessary formwork is firmly in place and water tight. Any bolt pockets must be grouted prior to grouting between the substrate and the base plate.
Pour ARDEX BG 100 GP immediately & continously after mixing. During the pouring process, ensure that a good hydrostatic head is maintained to keep the flow of the grout continous and entrapped air & pre-soaking water displaced by the grout is allowed to escape. Use a rod to assist in placement. For larger pours, the grout shall be placed via pumping through hoses.
ARDEX BG 100 GP may be applied in a thickness up to 50 mm in one pour. For areas where the thickness exceeds 50 mm, it is desirable to add clean, washed 6−10 mm aggregate to minimise heat build up.
